Suggestion for Jordan Planet

I think there should be a way whereby I can select which of my posts appear on Jordan Planet and which don't. The reason is that I post some topics which I know may not be of interest for 90% of people reading the planet -like Dot Net code examples- that I dont want to bore everyone with :)

Any ideas?

I do not understand. You want the blogger to decide if s/he wants a post to appear on JP or not? If you are making a post pn your public blog, why would you not like for it to appear in JP?

I agree with Isam ... the post would be already on your blog .. and we have grown to watch and follow each other's blogs ... so it will be seen eventually ... that's the point after all ... sharing it with others

The issue is not that I dont want it to appear. It's that some posts will only interest 5% or less of the people on JP. but if you guys won't mind reading my code samples then I'm more than happy to have them on JP :)

Laith, let readers decide what they are interested in. you will be surprised how the turn out will be. If they decide that they really are not interested, they can simply move on to other posts on your blog, on JP or on jeeran.
but here is a suggestion for you jeeran people, make the comments box a bit bigger, in3ameit ya zalameh

Jameed - Thank you .. that's what I have been telling Laith .. LOL

Actually I am driving the guys crazy with the big fuss I am making about blogs and they are really working on it ... it will be fixed in a few days .. that's what Laith told me too :)

Laith, this should be done by you if you desire not to send some of your posts to JP, maybe categorized feeds, and then give JP the blog feed, not the code one, thats exactly what I'm doing.

for god sake, make this textarea BIGGER!

Ok, I am convinced now that I may be trying to solve a problem that does not exist.

When I look at JP, I just ignore the topics I'm not interested in, and I guess this is what everyone else does. Besides, I can't be the judge as to what you guys like or don't like to read.

Jameed & Jad, the text boxes are now bigger. Tell me if you want them even bigger.

I also modified the forms to remember your info so you won't have to keep filling it out :)
